PRESS RELEASE 17.10.2023
Steel-Kamet from Finland, Röbäcks Sweden, and
Norwegian Tensor Industri are joining forces to operate Nordic unity for sustainable solutions Through the creation of Kamet-Röbäcks, three experienced forerunners in the Nordic concrete industry join forces. The new company will have an installed base of over 600 plants, close to 80 own employees in three countries, an extensive partner network for various supply and service needs, as well as an impressive and modern product and service portfolio. As a multinational company, Kamet-Röbäcks will continue to serve its customers locally, in the local languages, but with broader shoulders for present and future needs and development. “Throughout the Nordics, our customers are growing in size, and we believe that many have been missing a large, professional supplier, who can raise the quality and speed of deliveries. We are creating a comprehensive Nordic supplier, that can serve customers with full life-cycle solutions”, says Gøran Lyngstad, Chairman of the Board at Tensor Industri. Enhanced product range and life-cycle solutions With manufacturing both in Finland and Sweden, Kamet-Röbäcks will be able to provide its customers with a wider selection of high-end products, ranging from standard and customized concrete and asphalt plants to specialized recycling solutions. Thanks to more resources, customers will benefit from faster and more flexible service throughout their plant lifecycles. A unified force with a strong brand Kamet-Röbäcks’ headquarters will be in Kalajoki, Finland, and it will headed by the current Steel-Kamet CEO Jari Ainali. The Swedish and Norwegian employees will work through their own subsidiaries, but Kamet-Röbäcks will operate as one strong organization and brand. All three founding companies and their owners will remain dedicated partners in Kamet-Röbäcks, ensuring the company is well positioned for future growth and development. “We are putting together our best pieces, and now have high capabilities to serve customers locally with a large, state-of-the-art offering and full life-cycle services”, says Johan Samuelsson, Chairman of the Board at Röbäcks Sweden. “The integration process begins straight away and 2024 is the first fiscal year of Kamet-Röbäcks. We will create new opportunities for our existing personnel as well as new job openings in our three home countries”, says Jari Ainali, CEO of Kamet-Röbäcks.
